House rules

Good to know before you arrive

Arrival & departure

Check-in from 3:00pm, check-out by 10:00am. Self check-in with a keysafe — your code and full arrival details are sent by email ahead of your stay.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are welcome — please keep them off the furniture and clean up after them in the garden. £20 per dog, maximum 2 dogs. Towels, a dog bed and bowls are provided.

Parties & noise

Riverhouse is a peaceful family cottage — no parties or events, and please be considerate of neighbours after 10pm.

Cleaning

The standard cleaning fee is included in your stay. If the house is left needing a deep clean — exploded food in the microwave, dog hair or spillages on furniture/carpets, an uncleaned BBQ, or dog mess left in the garden — an additional charge will apply.

Streaming & heating

The smart TV runs on Roku, so you can log into your own Netflix, Prime Video and other streaming accounts during your stay — you're automatically signed out on your departure date, so there's nothing to remember. Heating is gas central with a Nest smart thermostat.
